2013 Innovation Global Award Winning Virtual OffiCenter Sponsors ClearCause Foundation

Virtual OffiCenters sponsored office space, staff and technology to our ClearCause Foundation thanks to an introduction by Kevin Ehlinger of I Think Creative.  Kevin Ehlinger also helped ClearCause redefine our vision and mission, coming fourth quarter 2013 with a new and improved user friendly website.

ClearCause Welcomes Vincent R. Johnson, Ph.D. as Board Member

UntitledClearCause is pleased to introduce Dr. Vincent R. Johnson as ClearCause Foundation board member!
Dr. Johnson’s vast experience and expertise in law, ethics, international business and torts is incredibly valuable to ClearCause’s work to keep students safe during programs abroad.
Dr. Johnson is currently a Professor of Law at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. His career at the St. Mary’s University includes Director of the Institute on Chinese Law and Business, Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Associate Dean for Administration and Director of the Institute on World Legal Problems.
His honors include the Administration of Justice Award presented by the Supreme Court Fellows Alumni Association; the Order of Art and Culture, awarded by the mayor and city council of Innsbruck, Austria, and the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award, awarded by the Boy Scouts of America; to name a few.
Dr. Johnson is an accomplished author of books, articles in law journeys, essays, reviews and prefaces. Most notably for ClearCause Foundation, Dr. Vincent authored AMERICANS ABROAD: INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND TORT LIABILITY.
Dr. Vincent has been part of multiple judicial fellowships and clerkships, including positions such as a Supreme Court Fellow at the Supreme Court of the United States and a Law Clerk at the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in Chicago and the New York Court of Appeals.
Dr. Johnson completed his undergraduate degree at St. Vincent College in Pennsylvania before going on to attend the University of Notre Dame, Yale University and London School of Economics in his legal education.
Dr. Johnson has extensive international experience. He was a Fulbright Senior Scholar at the University of Bucharest in Romania in spring of 2005, and a Fulbright Senior Scholar at Renmin People’s University in Beijing, China, in spring of 1998. He has been a visiting professor at various universities across the world, including but not limited to China, Czech Republic, Moldova, Mongolia, Lithuania, Serbia, Ukraine and Russia. He has also been a visiting professor at various law schools throughout the United States.
